MEMBER DRIVEN TOUR GENERATION
We listen to our tour member's suggestions and bring them to life once we get the support of 15 participants. Please post your ideas here for discussion. The popular ideas will be turned into a "Tour Idea" post where members can sign up for the tour. When we get 15 people to sign up for the suggested tour, we will reach out to the manufacturer and do our best to negotiate a tour. When successful and a kit is committed by the manufacturer, we will confirm our success by converting that post - rename it - from "Tour Idea" to "Coming Soon" and provide input on timing and the agreed-upon tour kits.

While I'm familiar with most of the CA line, Andromeda, Solaris, Atlas, etc., the new Ara has been commented as different tuning. While there are various reviews already posted, I'd like to suggest an idea of of the Ara being set up as a tour. I believe many want to really hear whether it follows the CA sound or is an entirely different beast.

I've had another brand cross my radar, but have seen very little of it. I saw it suggested in HEADFI, but wasn't sure if it got any traction. What about Earsonics? Specifically Blade and Starck?

@canislayu - Me too! I have had difficulty chasing down DAP tours in the past, but with our growing numbers I bet I can work something out now. I have been interested in the HiBy R8 as well. Let's see what we can do. Remind me if I don't have this tour idea up by next week, my time is being crushed right now with an influx of signups, tech issues, and new members. 🙂

@seamon67 - Agreed, I would love to see the Abyss on tour. However, I am not sure how many of our tour members have a home setup that could support it adequately. Most of our tours and therefore tour members are focused on portable so we may run into a problem. My experience with my friends 1266 TC was that it needed some nice gear to pair with to shine. I would be happy to chase this one down, but it feels like it would be a special sub-group of members that do smaller tours. Do you think we can get 10 to 15 members together with appropriate gear to do a focused tour?
Does anyone else wish to participate in an Abyss tour and have a desktop setup to support it?

@canislayu - Like you, I feel that DAPs fit right into our typical member's needs so I added the HiBy R8 to the Tour Ideas looking for support for that 15 member minimum. However, I did reach out as well to see if I can move this one along thinking that it would be easy to find the participants within our ranks.

DAPs, what other DAPs would you like to see on tour? Never had luck with AK or Sony unless someone has some contacts that they would like to introduce me to.
